More self-complacency

Tengo la sensación de que no paro de hablar de cifras y dinero desde el estreno ;) así que he pensado que sería buena idea compartir el notición de la taquilla con otra buena noticia

It’s official.

Over the weekend Gossip Cop reported box office estimates, but now the numbers are final. Sources at Summit Entertainment tell us “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” grossed an astonishing $142.8 million over its first three days, for a $35,497 average on 4,024 screens.

Despite the tremendous numbers, a spokesman for Summit says there’s “no announcement planned” for a potential “Breaking Dawn” production.

To no one's surprise, the Twilight soundtrackpicked up the award for "Favorite Album" at the 2009 American Music Awards event yesterday.

While the day might've been dominated by songstress Taylor Swift (who picked up awards for "Artist of the Year," "Favorite Female Artist" (for both Pop and Country music), and "Favorite Artist" in the Adult/Contemporary category), the Twilightsoundtrack was the one to hone in on the much-coveted "Favorite Album" win.

The Twilight soundtrack was very popular with fans and reached the number one spot on the Billboard 200 quite easily. With artists likeMuse, Linkin Park, Robert Pattinson, and many others, though, it isn't any wonder why the Twilight soundtrack fared so well.
