Kristen Stwart & Taylor Lautner o Entertainment Weekly

Éste es próximo número del EW que sale este viernes. En portada, Kristen y TL. Incluye una entrevista a ambos actores hablando sobre el rodaje de New Moon. De momento, MTV nos ofrece un adelanto:

Although there will be a little less Edward Cullen in "New Moon" — thanks to the relationship heating up between Bella and Jacob in the "Twilight" sequel — Robert Pattinson didn't mind.

"It was a stress-free job for three months," the heartthrob told Entertainment Weekly for an upcoming cover story. "All the pressure was on Taylor."

And Taylor Lautner, who plays Jacob, did feel a lot of pressure. On top of making the leap to leading-man status in the flick, the teen also had to beef up to tackle the role of the rapidly growing werewolf. If he hadn't, he would have lost the part to another actor, many of whom were clamoring to get in on "Twilight" fever.

"It's completely understandable why they wanted to make sure he was right," Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella, said about Lautner's impressive transformation. "He was so young, 16, so I got it. But I knew he had it. Just because of how I felt around him. I literally saw Jacob in him."

"New Moon" director Chris Weitz added: "I think that Taylor is really going to surprise people in the movie. People have seen his body and all that stuff, and it's a shocker because it's hard to believe that anyone can be quite so carved. But he actually delivers a really great performance. He wasn't just exercising all day. He was also reading the book quite a lot."

In the interview, Stewart said she loves Lautner and that their relationship is
"lamely cute," which Lautner agreed works well for their onscreen chemistry. "It was vital," Lautner said. "Edward and Bella's relationship is so intense, but Jacob and Bella's is very laid-back. Sometimes there's a question of, 'Is it going to go past best friends?' And sometimes it looks like it.

"But they are so open, and they can tell each other everything," Lautner continued. "So it was very important for me and Kristen to grow very close before doing this. It wasn't like we went out to, like, theme parks together or anything. It was just, like, going to each other's houses, hanging out, going and getting some dinner. A lot of nothing — just spending time together."

Things got serious for Stewart while she was filming the movie and had to experience the intensity of what it would be like for Bella to be abandoned by Edward.
"Before the scene, I was sitting in my car, like, f---ing crying — crying so hard you can't breathe, because I was really overwhelmed and intimidated by the scene. Everyone says, 'She better be able to pull off the emotion in this movie!' And it's such an important moment in the book, when he leaves," she recalled. "I'm thinking, 'We have to be done now. Just tell me we're done.' "
