Twi-cast calling the paparazzi??

Here's something for Twilight fans to ponder: Is it possible that some cast members are calling the paparazzi before heading out on their fun outings to concerts, shopping sprees, and dinners? Ted Casablanca certainly thinks so and alluded to as much in this afternoon's 'The Awful Truth' column on E! Online.

In his typical snarky way (that most adore), Casablanca was explaining to his readers why he is convinced that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart had snuck away for a private coffee date this past Friday evening. Why is he so sure? Here's his reasoning: "See, when certain castmates (who shall remain nameless) hit the streets with either Rob or Kristen, they usually have a paparazzo's phone number on speed dial. Hence the convenient timing for the photogs to swarm the Twi group." And since Pattinson and Stewart typically go to great lengths to avoid the paparazzi, especially when they're together, no photos of the couple have been discovered pertaining to their evening alone. Now while it's tempting to discuss at greath lengths a coffee date between Pattinson and Stewart, let's focus on the possibility that cast members are divulging their extracurricular itineraries to the paparazzi. It's not an unusual situation, and can at times be mutually beneficial between the annoying photographers and the celebrities. Let's face it, the exposure doesn't hurt the celebrity and the money goes to the paparazzo. Plenty of celebrities have been known to engage in this somewhat bizarre relationship, like Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, and even Miley Cyrus. But why would the cast ofTwilight go to such lengths? Casablanca states that "Everyone up north is trying extra hard to keep Eclipse, and the cast's extracurricular activities, off the public radar. Much more than Twilight or New Moon." Perhaps this is to keep the fans rabid for information and generate even more excitement for New Moon when it's released in November. However, the cast has been seen all over Vancouver, from the moment they touched down in the airport to a friendly stroll between costars earlier today. There is no mystery about what is going on up there! We know about dinners out, shopping trips, the Kings of Leon concert, and dog walks. We have photographic proof. Is that on purpose, courtesy of a cast member? Now Casablanca won't name names, which he makes clear, but peruse the comments and it's clear that many fans believe it's Nikki Reed who is calling the shots, so to speak. Given how many photos there are of Ashley Greene running errands and hanging out, it's surprising her name wasn't mentioned! If this is true, it's no wonder that Pattinson and Stewart opted to sneak out for their private time. Not an easy feat when photo agencies have sent dozens of photographers up there to snap the stars whenever possible! What do you think? Is a cast member calling paps or is this just bogus?

Me llamaréis tontuna inocente pero me parece fuerte...y, qué raro que ande Nikki de por medio y Ted haya seguido con la boquita cerrada ;) (perdona Ted, cada uno tenemos alguien que nos infla la yugular, es comprensible!)

En cualquier caso, bien por Robsten que consiguen escaparse y tener sus ratos de intimidad (aunque una fotito...de lejos...sin que se enteren, ni les molesten...suspiro)
